Job Description:

Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districts seeks an attorney to join its Litigation practice group. If you are interested in joining a team that works on landmark cases, we encourage you to apply.Candidates will be considered for the following DWK offices: -San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, East Bay, FresnoQualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of litigation experience, including the below qualifications:

• Experience working on complex civil litigation matters from initiation to resolution including arbitration, mediation and/or trials
• Strong case management skills, including ability and initiative to complete assignments, manage deadlines and move matters forward
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
• Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities
• Education law experience and/or public entity experience preferred
• Prior experience with insurance defense and personal injury defense a plus
