Our San Jose, CA client seeks an Accounting Assistant.

This is a Contract to Hire Opportunity.
Background and Drug Screen is REQUIRED.
Pay Rate: $30-33/hr
Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):


  • Process invoices from vendors
  • Check monthly statements from vendors
  • Contact vendors to request invoices, confirm rates, request adjustments
  • Reconcile corporate credit card receipts from employees
  • Fill out credit applications
  • Process expense claims, per-diem, and allowances
  • Answer phone calls
  • File documents
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and fax
  • Assist Office Administrator/Field Engineers/Project Engineers/Superintendent/Managers/Vice President or other employees
  • Arrange lodging, rental cars, flight rental furniture, set up cable/internet, utility accounts for corporate housing

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge in Accounts Payable
    • Familiar with Bill.com
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, Dropbox
    • College degree preferred

      Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
      Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
      Physical Setting: Office
      Schedule:

      • Day shift
      • Monday to Friday

        Work Location: In person
