supported.Your CareerWe're looking for a UI/UX Designer to join
Xpanse, a proactive security product and part of Palo Alto Networks
Cortex. Our Internet intelligence platform continuously surveys
petabytes of data to find risks online and help protect some of the
world's largest organizations from malicious software and hackers.
In this role, you'll directly contribute to our mission by crafting
practical, useful, and beautiful design-centric products.Our
designers are collaborative and resourceful. Here, you'll help
shape the future of the product by envisioning, designing, and
delivering visually compelling experiences. Your projects will vary
widely day-to-day, and you'll be involved in every part of the
design process.Your Impact
- Synthesize solutions to complex design problems by asking
questions to explore problem areas, considering problems from
different angles, and exploring new ways to communicate ideas.
- Create impactful product experiences through compelling visuals
and prototypes.
- Help improve and expand our ongoing Cortex Design System.
- Apply UI and UX design techniques including user flows, visual
design, wireframes, mockup specifications, and prototypes that
transform complex concepts into easy-to-understand
experiences.
- Deliver detailed solutions for visualizations, reports, and
other customer-facing collateral.
- Collaborate with peer designers, engineering teams, and product
managers to guide the evolution of your product experiences.
- Bring a pragmatic approach to design that balances the needs of
your customers with the time and effort to create the
solutions.
- Improve yourself by continuing to grow as a designer by staying
on top of current design trends and technologies.Your Experience
- You are a designer by heart - you appreciate good design and
are passionate about making complex systems simple.
- At least 2 years of experience delivering UX/Product design for
large-scale web applications (please attach a link to your Online
portfolio - this is a crucial part in reviewing your
application).
- Knowledge of Figma, extending, and maintaining design systems
to increase productivity through reusable components and
patterns.
- Strong Visual Design skills with an excellent eye for
details.
- Understanding of user experience frameworks such as Jobs to be
Done, personas, use cases, mood boards, happy paths, journey maps,
etc.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS product experiences - security,
networking, or similar product experience is a plus but not
required.
- Comfort with resolving ambiguity through collaboration - not
knowing the answer doesn't bother you, and finding the answer
excites you.
- Team player with simple, direct, and positive
communication.
- Self-managing, self-correcting, autodidact.The TeamOur UX team
is an integrated part of the Cortex Xpanse Product team. We work
closely with the Product Managers, Customer Success, and the
Engineering teams to define, design, and build our best-in-class
Cyber Security products. We are the user's advocates, the
researchers, and the designers that make Xpanse products easier to

offered for this position will depend on qualifications,
experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer
at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles)
or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles)
is expected to be between $94,000 - $152,000/YR. The offered
compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A
