Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist HB to
manage patient account balances and ensure accurate claim
submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit accurate and timely claims to third-party payers
Resolve claim edits and account errors prior to claim
submission
Contact third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and assist with
denial management
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience
preferred
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding processes preferred
Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining
to hospital billing
Working knowledge of computers and medical terminology
preferred
