The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory allocation and supporting the end-to-end strategy execution for the retail division

Utilize inputs from sizing team and historical performance to update allocation parameters, optimizing store/door sell through.

--- Create accurate inventory flow forecasts that align with business strategies.
--- Execute allocation strategies to optimize inventory utilization and capitalize on opportunities.
--- Suggest and implement exception management activities to ensure customer demands are met effectively.
--- Analyze data quantitatively to identify risks, monetize new opportunities, and optimize inventory deployment.
--- Promote the Strengthening Outlet initiative by working cross-functionally on optimal inventory allocations and sustainable processes.
--- Maintain effective communication with retail field partners regarding product instock status, floorset on-time rates, inventory challenges, exceptions/concerns at store level.

Requirements

--- Technical proficiency with computer software tools and the ability to quickly learn new ones (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAS).
--- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
--- Minimum of three years of experience in a retail environment (preferably)
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to quickly identify and communicate implications from consumer, internal, and marketplace information.
--- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
--- Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
