• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Tele Interpretation, IV Insertion.

  • PCU nurse position available in Modesto, CA.
  • This role is part of the AMN MSP - Tenet Healthcare hospital system at Doctors Medical Center - Modesto.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of acute care nursing experience.
    • 2+ completed traveling assignments (6+ months).
    • Experience with cardiac surgery, MI, irregular heart rate, COPD, PNA, renal failure, and pacer insertion.
    • Adept at CAPD.
    • Proficiency in managing Titrate drips including Hep, cardiazem, Amiodorone, Dopa, Dobut (no titration).
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Times: 7PM-7AM.
      • Guaranteed hours per week: 36.
      • Weekend Requirement: every other weekend.
      • Float Requirement: as needed in skillset.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The unit contains 44 beds.
        • Staffing ratios are 3:1 for 36 beds, 4:1 for 8 beds.
        • Tele Interpretation included in unit duties.
