You'll work directly with the CEO and department leaders to drive financial clarity, optimize sales motions, and build scalable infrastructure from day one.What You Will Accomplish:

• Lead FP&A, including forecasting, modeling, budgeting, and scenario planning across revenue and expenses
• Partner with GTM leadership to align headcount, hiring plans, and quota models with growth targets
• Own sales commission planning and payouts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with incentive structures
• Serve as internal controller, overseeing books, payroll, compliance, and accounting operations
• Manage equity and cap table logistics, supporting investor relations and financing activities
• Model pricing tied to AI and LLM usage, ensuring unit economics scale with customer growth
• Build dashboards and KPIs to guide decisions across exec, board, and functional leads
• Create and optimize budgets across departments and strategic initiatives
• Develop and implement capital allocation strategies to guide investment across product, sales, and operational priorities
• Implement and scale financial infrastructure, including accounting systems, spend management tools, and reporting automationWhat We Are Looking For:
  • 5-8+ years in finance, ideally within high-growth tech startups
  • Experience owning sales commission plans and working closely with RevOps or Sales
  • Deep modeling skills with comfort in FP&A, accounting, and pricing complexity
  • Bonus: investment banking background or experience supporting fundraising and M&A
  • Familiarity with equity management tools and cap tables
  • Strong communicator with a bias for action and ability to operate cross-functionallyYou Will Thrive in This Role If You Have:
    • Built or supported strategic finance functions at early-stage companies
    • Partnered directly with CEOs and execs on headcount, runway, go-to-market planning, creating and optimize budgets
    • Navigated complex pricing tied to AI/LLM models or usage-based systems
    • Balanced strategic thinking with hands-on ownership of financial operations
    • A growth mindset and excitement for scaling a company from $5M to $25M+ in ARRHybrid Work Environment:
      • This role is based in the Bay Area with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our San Mateo office.
